The last of THE LAST FRONTIER.

Well... this is 2 of 2.  I hope you enjoy them.  If you ever get a chance to go on an Alaskan cruise or just to anywhere in Alaska, do it.  It is absolutely gorgeous.  Perhaps I will post more later on, but this is it for now...

(I don't usually add captions, but I feel that this needs some explaining.)  To put some perspective as to how big the glacier is between the mountains - There is a ship about half the size of a cruise ship that is at the base, but is almost completely undetectable in front of the massive glacier.

A lesson in being prepared.

In reference to the title... I was not.  This past Saturday was my first attempt at shooting live shows at the Mellow Mushroom in Tuscaloosa, AL.  PROBLEM!  I had forgotten some crucial equipment.  Instead of throwing in the towel, or cheating and using some type of on camera flash - I decided work the old-fashion way... available light!  the bad thing... the "available light" was big can lights... They look great in person but when they are the only source of light, they are a photographers worst nightmare.  Alas, I gave it the old college try.  Came up with a few shots I'm happy with.  The band is Hackberry Record's  Sparrow and the Ghost at Tuscaloosa's Mellow Mushroom.  Enjoy.

Third time's a charm. Alabama Football - 2009. Part 3

A look back - 2009 Alabama Football

New York City

In preparation of the upcoming football season I hope to make a few posts with a collection of photos from the Alabama Football games I shot last year.
